Pharmaceutical form:

Antiparasitic solution for cutaneous application.
Indications:

for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.).

reduces the incidence of flea allergies.
larval stages are killed on the animal and in the environment around the treated animals.
for the prevention of heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) infestations

for the treatment and control of:

roundworms Toxocara canis, T. leonina (including the L1 larval stage and immature adult forms.

unevenly calibrated worms Trichuris vulpis.
generalized demodicosis Demodex canis.

Dosage and administration:

For dogs between 0 - 4 kg, use one tube of Advocate 40;
Administration is done in the dorsal area at the base of the neck for small dogs, and for large ones it can be done in several places on the entire back.
The product is applied to the skin, avoiding contact with the dog's mouth or eyes.
Skin The dog's coat must be intact and without lesions.
It can be administered to pregnant or lactating bitches.
The product remains effective after bathing or exposure to rain.
To reduce reinfestations with new fleas, it is recommended to treat all dogs in a family (household). Other pets in the same family or household must be treated with appropriate products.
Contraindications:

Do not use in cats. Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age.
Other information:

To prevent heartworm infestation, it is recommended that treatment be started one month before the mosquito season begins (the host that transmits the larvae) and continued once a month until the mosquito season is over.
For tapeworms, it is recommended to use internal antiparasitics because ADVOCATE does not act on them, but only on roundworms and hookworms.
For demodicosis, 2 to 4 monthly treatments to obtain beneficial effects.
For mange (ear, sarcoptic) a single treatment is required to completely eliminate parasites and signs of disease.
