Composition

Action
Dectomax contains as active substance doramectin, an avermectin discovered by Pfizer. Doramectin has a broad spectrum of activity and high efficiency against gastrointestinal nematodes (adults and L4 larvae), pulmonary strongyles (adults and L4), Thelazia spp., Hypoderma bovis, lice, scabies, ticks, kidney parasites, which parasitize cattle, sheep and pigs.
Indications
In the control of infestations with the mentioned parasites, sensitive to doramectin, which affect cattle, sheep and pigs.
Directions for use
Dectomax is inoculated intramuscularly, in the neck area.
In cattle and sheep, it is administered at a dose of 200 mg doramectin/kg body weight, respectively 1 ml product/50 kg body weight.
In pigs, it is administered at a dose of 300 mg doramectin/kg body weight, respectively 1 ml product/33 kg live weight.
Contraindications and precautions
To reduce the viscosity of the product, the Dectomax bottle will be slightly warmed until it reaches a temperature of at least 15° C. The instruments used will be brought to the same temperature regime.
Dectomax will not be used in lactating females; in females 60 days before the planned calving date.
Withdrawal period
For meat: in pigs - 28 days, and in cattle and sheep - 35 days.
Storage conditions
At room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
